Apr 13, 2018Paul Granados, 54, hung his head for most of Saturday’s hearing at the Leighton Criminal Court Building, where he faced first-degree murder and armed robbery charges. He was accused of firing a single shot through an opening in a plexiglass partition, killing Horacio Galvan-Hernandez, 46, the owner of the Envios De Dinero currency exchange and money order business, in the 5000 block of West Fullerton Avenue in the Cragin neighborhood. In court, prosecutors said surveillance video at the business captured Granados entering the business Wednesday afternoon armed with a revolver.
